A strong background in mechanical and electrical aptitude is essential for this role, as well as experience with Lean Preventive Maintenance and continuous improvement methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on assigned toolsets to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair unscheduled failures, identifying root causes to reduce Mean-Time Between Failure (MTBF) and improve Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead or participate in initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, availability, and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment installation and repair within a semiconductor fab, HDD manufacturing, or a similar high-tech environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
