Position Overview:

The Warehouse Operations Technician plays a crucial role in supporting warehouse activities by efficiently preparing, processing, and managing inventory in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the receipt of incoming goods from suppliers
  • Accurately read and fulfill orders
  • Utilize forklifts or pallet jacks to transport inventory and materials within the facility
  • Organize and store inventory in designated areas
  • Prepare inventory for dispatch to job sites
  • Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites and suppliers
  • Report any damaged or missing items to management
  • Maintain logs and documentation for inventory management
  • Ensure the warehouse environment is safe and accessible for all staff
  • Identify and report discrepancies in shipments to supervisors
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of prior experience in a warehouse setting
  • Proficient in operating forklifts or pallet jacks
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with trailer operations is a plus

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to operate a motorized vehicle or forklift
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Frequent tasks may involve climbing, bending, kneeling, and crouching
  • Capability to work at heights and use ladders safely
  • Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
  • Must have the ability to hear and communicate effectively
  • Vision must be sufficient to perform tasks safely
  • Ability to use hands and arms for various tasks
