Position Overview:
The Warehouse Operations Technician plays a crucial role in supporting warehouse activities by efficiently preparing, processing, and managing inventory in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt of incoming goods from suppliers
- Accurately read and fulfill orders
- Utilize forklifts or pallet jacks to transport inventory and materials within the facility
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas
- Prepare inventory for dispatch to job sites
- Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites and suppliers
- Report any damaged or missing items to management
- Maintain logs and documentation for inventory management
- Ensure the warehouse environment is safe and accessible for all staff
- Identify and report discrepancies in shipments to supervisors
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures
- Perform additional tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of prior experience in a warehouse setting
- Proficient in operating forklifts or pallet jacks
- Possession of a valid Driver's License
- High school diploma or GED
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with trailer operations is a plus

Working Environment:
- Warehouse setting
- Travel required to various work locations
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to operate a motorized vehicle or forklift
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Frequent tasks may involve climbing, bending, kneeling, and crouching
- Capability to work at heights and use ladders safely
- Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
- Must have the ability to hear and communicate effectively
- Vision must be sufficient to perform tasks safely
- Ability to use hands and arms for various tasks
