Job Summary

Flagship Facility Services is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team. As a Janitorial Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, and polish floors using industrial equipment.
  • Sanitation and Hygiene: Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas.
  • Trash and Recycling: Empty trash and recycling bins, and replace liners as needed.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special cleaning projects, such as deep cleaning of offices or event spaces.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
  • Skills: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:

Our facilities are located in a variety of settings, including office buildings, schools, and healthcare facilities. As a Janitorial Specialist, you will be exposed to a combination of normal office-type environments and shop environments.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to perform the following repetitive movements: stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear.
