Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineer, your primary duties will include:

  • Managing and executing investigations concerning machinery and equipment.
  • Performing examinations and damage assessments of mechanical systems and components.
  • Conducting root cause failure analyses and evaluating mechanical, corrosion, and metallurgical properties.
  • Assessing repair and replacement costs for damaged facilities and equipment.
  • Interacting with clients and collaborating with other consultants on various projects.
  • Preparing detailed written reports that summarize your findings and analyses.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Missouri or a nearby state, or the ability to obtain licensure within six months.
  • Experience with Solar Power Systems is highly advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Forensic Investigation and Reporting is preferred.
  • Experience providing legal depositions and serving as an Expert Witness is a significant plus.
  • Advanced Technical Education degrees are beneficial.
  • Proficiency in software such as MathCAD, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
  • Experience in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Design settings.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
