We are seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team at Sutter Health.

Job Summary:

The Neurodiagnostic Technologist will perform routine and specialized non-invasive neurological tests as ordered by the physician for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease.

Responsibilities:

• Perform EEG and EMG tests as ordered by the physician.
• Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results to the physician in a timely manner.
• Gain confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and care, and effective communication.
• Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED.
• REEGT-Registered Electroencephalographic/Neurodiagnostic Technologist if performing EEGs.
• EMG-Certified Electromyographic Technologist if performing EMG procedures.
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
• 1-year recent relevant experience.

Working Conditions:

Variable days, per diem/casual schedule, 8 hours per shift, occasional weekends.
