Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive software test plans to ensure the highest quality of our products.
  • Create test plans with test cases based on user stories to validate our software's functionality.
  • Utilize automated and manual processes to generate data and implement test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the Agile team.
  • Ensure that quality software is provided for release to production by independently executing test scripts.
  • Write test scripts to validate our software's functionality.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and documentation to gain a thorough understanding of the programs and processes to be certified.
  • Create and modify test scripts to certify system changes.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a software tester utilizing manual testing and automation testing to include automation tools.
  • Knowledge of coding with automated testing frameworks, tools, and services.
  • Knowledge of applying QA methodology in Agile or Scrum environments.
  • Ability to work with different teams across organizations to present and communicate analytical findings on an independent basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Software Quality Assurance experience with TMIP-J applications.
  • A SAFe certification, such as SAFe for Teams, SAFe DevOps, SAFe Agile Software Engineering, Leading SAFe.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

The projected compensation range for this position is $80,900-$134,800.
