Job Summary

The CDL Driver position is responsible for operating a 26' box truck for delivery, pick up, and hauling of materials between Wholesale Distribution centers and multiple local and out of state Wholesale customer store and Company store locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a 26-foot box truck in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Adhere to federal and state motor carrier safety regulations as specified by the US Department of Transportation and other regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance problems to Management.
  • Unload and load merchandise at distribution centers and store locations using lift-gates, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.
  • Record all transfers and sales on required forms.
  • Maintain and submit daily trip and fuel logs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of six months of semi-tractor with trailer driving experience.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and ability to interpret and execute instructions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math skills and ability to accurately maintain daily logs.
  • Current valid Class B CDL driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Work Environment

This job operates in Warehouse and store environments with exposure to moderate noise levels, adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust.
