Role: SAP S4HANA SD Consultant

Job Level: Manager

Role Summary:

  • Specialization in the design and configuration of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
  • Ability to capture business requirements and provide both conceptual and detailed designs to fulfill business needs.
  • Conduct essential SAP SD configuration and draft detailed specifications for the development of custom programs.
  • Oversee testing, coordinate transport to production, and provide post-launch support.
  • Experience with Revenue Account/Output Determination and Master Data management (Materials, Condition records, Customer Master).
  • Knowledge of SAP interfaces and integration using ALE/IDOC, Flat File, RFC, BAPI, and Web Services.
  • Proficiency in EDI/IDOC and Output Determination.
  • Strong understanding of integration between SD, FI, and MM.
  • Experience with Enhancements/User exits.
  • Familiarity with areas such as Outline agreements, Chargebacks, Repairs/Claims processes, and Cross-border sales/service scenarios is advantageous.
  • Experience with SAP S4 Hana Cloud and SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
  • Knowledge of PLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Capable of performing LTMC and LTVF for mass updates, with knowledge of ABAP Query Building.
  • Expertise in ABAP Debugging, Interfaces, and workflow, with strong skills in Routines and User exits.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP SD.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4 HANA SD, including at least one full-cycle implementation.
  • Experience with SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
  • Ability to coordinate with various customer partners as well as onsite and offshore teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in S/4HANA SD, preferably from 2020.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
