Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse Leader is responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering, and overseeing nursing care, services, and health education for residents.
- Oversee the care/services delivered by LPNs, CNAs/STNAs, and other team members.
- Administer safe and precise medication-related interventions.
- Evaluate the health status of residents and inform the physician of any changes; promptly execute new orders.
- Formulate a care plan based on assessments and implement nursing interventions.
- Select and apply suitable nursing strategies to stabilize a resident's condition and/or avert complications.
- Contribute to resident assessments (MDS/CAA's) and the formulation of care plans.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care environment preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state
- CPR certification
