We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) on a day shift rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients in the PICU, including ventilation management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve lung function and overall health.
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and nebulizers.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce errors.
Requirements:
  • Current Oklahoma license (or Oklahoma endorsement process already in progress)
  • NBRC Credential
  • PALS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
  • At least 2 years' recent staff experience in a large PICU Unit/Facility
Preferred Qualifications:
  • EPIC experience
  • Ability to float between adult and children's population and possibly other units if needed
Work Environment:

This position is a safety-sensitive role, and the selected candidate will be required to undergo regular drug testing.

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. is a 20-bed unit that provides critical care services to pediatric patients. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by a team of experienced healthcare professionals.

This is a quick-start position, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week. The shift schedule is 7a-7p, with every other weekend rotation.
