We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our team at Boys Town National Research Hospital. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide specialized medical and surgical care to our patients, including those with digestive system problems.

• Provide direct medical and surgical care to patients in the hospital and clinic environments.
• Participate as a medical member of the multi-disciplinary evaluation and remediation team, with a focus on the care of children with digestive system problems.
• Design and conduct clinical and/or basic research projects in the area of pediatric gastroenterology, as approved by the Director of Boys Town National Research Hospital.
• Collaborate with other Hospital staff members in the conduct of clinical and/or basic research projects.
• Participate in and/or conduct educational programs developed by Boys Town National Research Hospital, including undergraduate and graduate medicine, continuing education, nursing, and related allied health fields.
• Contribute to the development of program/project objectives, sub-objectives, and staffing needs for the medical program.
• Undertake special projects as directed by the Director of Boys Town National Research Hospital.

• Doctor of Medicine Degree from an accredited medical school.
• Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, and in gastroenterology and nutrition from the American Board of Pediatrics Sub-board in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Medical licensure in the State of Nebraska.
• Creighton University Medical School faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics, and ability to qualify for clinical hospital privileges.
• Minimum of three years pediatric residency training and additional training in gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition, including medical research and treatment of infants, children, and teens with digestive, liver, and nutritional disorders.
