Medical Professional for Primary Care

As a Medical Professional for Primary Care, you will play a vital role in our team by preparing patients for visits with providers, assisting with in-office testing, administering vaccines and injections, and collaborating with clinical care teams to monitor and coordinate delivery of care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for visits with providers by completing the Advanced Standard room process, including entering chief complaints, taking vital signs, reviewing patient history and allergies, and completing medication reconciliation
- Assist with in-office testing, such as drawing blood, completing mental status exams, EKGs, walking oxygen studies, and point-of-care testing
- Administer vaccines and injections within scope of practice
- Schedule follow-up appointments when needed per office policy
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire
- Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office
