Robotics Technologist for Next-Generation Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Robotics Technologist to join our team at R&E Automated Systems.
Salary:$120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for defining and delivering next-generation robotics technologies in support of next-gen manufacturing operations.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful planning and integration of AGV / AMR systems.
Your primary focus will be on coordinating the design, commissioning, and launch of Autonomous Mobile Robotic (AMR) systems for in-plant material logistics.
You will utilize your experience with controls, IT, and AMR systems to root-cause issues during facility launch and implement lessons learned into future deployments.
Additionally, you will develop and execute testing plans to ensure AMR performance meets project requirements.
You will participate in continuous improvement activities to optimize AMR performance and reliability.
Furthermore, you will benchmark best-in-world practices for AMR deployments and utilize findings to drive strategy development.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, engineering technology, mechatronics, or a related field.
You should have 2+ years of experience in deploying automation technology into a manufacturing facility.
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Autodesk, Teamcenter, etc.) and simulation tools is also required.
You should have knowledge of controls systems, IT architecture, and related interfaces with automation technology.
Able to travel domestically and internationally.
Knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements for AGV / AMR technologies is essential.
Bonus RequirementsPrior experience with PLC controls, industrial robotic systems, and virtual commissioning tools is highly desirable.
Experience with Lean / Six-Sigma methodology and processes is also beneficial.
