Join ADVANCED HOME HEALTH as a Physical Therapist Assistant and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care in a home health environment.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to assist licensed Physical Therapists in providing quality Physical Therapy services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Physical Therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Physical Therapy treatment to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Participate in gathering information regarding patient functional status as directed by the licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Complete all documentation and record keeping related to the provision of Physical Therapy services in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in the interdisciplinary care plan process and communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and facility/agency staff regarding care issues and discharge planning.
  • Operate the Rehabilitation department according to department policies and procedures, including infection control and safety.
  • Comply with all facility/agency policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations applicable to Pennsylvania.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Two year related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computer software required for documentation and communication.
  • Current PA License as a Physical Therapist Assistant, including meeting continuing education requirements.
