Job Description

This position is responsible for leading the site's occupational health and safety efforts to drive long-term company and stakeholder value. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical safety issues pertaining to laboratory and cleanroom environments.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Translate Corporate and Divisional standards and guides into appropriate site procedures
  • Track and report safety metrics
  • Maintain liaison with outside organizations, peer companies, and agencies as necessary to assure compliance and communication

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex EHS projects and a strong ability to influence and drive a sustainable EHSS culture. CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional), required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in science or engineering
  • Master's/Graduate degree in a relevant discipline is desired
  • A minimum of 15 years of previous Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience in a research or manufacturing facility
  • A minimum of 5 years leadership with direct reports
