Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Guest Service: Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring that we have adequate stock levels to meet the needs of our guests and staff.
  • Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of the housekeeping budget, monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost savings.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with other departments, including front office, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure that we are providing a seamless and efficient service to our guests.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Skills: Familiarity with regulations related to the use of chemicals, ability to lift heavy objects, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
