Job Overview

Salary: $25 - $29 per hour

Work Schedule: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays

Work Locations: Various sites

Key Responsibilities:

For Class A and B Manual Operators:

  • Operate dump trucks to transport materials to designated sites, including concrete, asphalt, and other supplies.
  • Ensure accurate load verification and follow delivery instructions.
  • Utilize navigation tools and road maps effectively.
  • Conduct daily inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.

For Class A Manual Operators:

  • Drive drag trailers or dump trucks equipped with heavy equipment trailers to deliver materials and machinery.
  • Verify loads for accuracy and follow specified delivery protocols.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Handle loading and unloading of equipment as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance and adhere to safety practices and policies.
  • Report vehicle issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Comply with traffic laws and DOT regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Pass random drug tests as mandated.
  • Maintain a clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions in the last seven years.
  • Exhibit strong listening and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate reliability and dependability.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid CDL – Class A or Class B with manual transmission capability.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
