Main Responsibilities
  • Engaging professionally with patients, visitors, and colleagues
  • Completing the registration process for appointments
  • Coordinating patient appointments and explaining collection procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Participating in staff meetings
  • Overseeing office supplies and equipment
  • Collecting and documenting patient payments
  • Resolving billing discrepancies
  • Maintaining the cash drawer and reconciling receipts
  • Processing medical records
  • Performing additional duties as assigned
Experience Required
  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, PPO, HMO billing is preferred
Education/Certifications/Licensure
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
Skills Needed
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience with Practice Management Systems (PMS) and Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Ability to work collaboratively
Physical Requirements

A physical examination will be required if selected for the position.
