Job Summary

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Laconia, NH. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive physical assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and implementing customized exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Review medical histories, collaborate with healthcare colleagues, and understand patient needs.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Establish specific goals for rehabilitation or recovery, and design customized exercise programs.
  • Implement Exercise Programs: Use hands-on techniques for mobility enhancement and pain relief, including joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, and manual stretching.
  • Apply Modalities: Use ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold therapy to ease pain, reduce inflammation, and aid tissue healing.
  • Provide Guidance: Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and injury prevention related to body mechanics and ergonomics.
  • Develop Pain Management Strategies: Use therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual techniques for pain reduction.
  • Assist Patients: Regain independence after surgery, injury, or illness to enhance their quality of life.
  • Document Progress: Continuously assess and document patient progress toward rehabilitation goals, adapting treatment plans as needed.
  • Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
  • Provide Home Exercise Programs: Support ongoing recovery with personalized home exercise programs.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Keep accurate patient records, documenting assessments, treatments, progress notes, and changes in the patient's condition.
Requirements
  • Valid Physical Therapy State License: Required for this position.
  • CPR and BLS Certification: From American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross (with AED).
