Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our team in Urbandale, Iowa. As a 1099 contractor, you will play a critical role in delivering evidence-based Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services to patients struggling with opiate use disorder.

Your primary responsibilities will include conducting intakes, monitoring patients' clinical progress, authorizing prescriptions, and completing all notes and reporting in our EMR system.

You will work closely with our specialized counseling staff to provide comprehensive care to our patients. With a focus on medical management, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

The ideal candidate will possess an active, unencumbered state license (NP/APRN) in Iowa, a minimum of 6 months experience prescribing Buprenorphine, and proof of active board certification. You should be able to work in-office at least 5 hours per week and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intakes and monitor patients' clinical progress
  • Authorize patients' prescriptions during monthly visits
  • Complete all notes and reporting in our EMR system

We utilize strict protocols to guide clinical decision-making and have developed a unique, technology-driven clinical system that handles day-to-day patient management and regulatory compliance.

Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered state license (NP/APRN) in Iowa
