Job Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for assisting the physician and RN with exams and treatments, as well as providing sick call services to inmates. The nurse will also be responsible for preparing inmates for exams, dispensing medications, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities:- Assist the physician and RN with exams and treatments
- Provide sick call services to inmates
- Prepare inmates for exams and maintain exam rooms and equipment
- Dispense medications and maintain accurate documentation
- Control medications and syringes in inventory
- 1 year + of LPN experience
- Correctional nursing experience preferred
- IN or Multistate LPN License in good standing
- Active BLS certification
- $40 - $42/hour
- $60 - $63/hour overtime
- Travel pay packages available
- Weekly direct deposit
- Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K
