Dayshift Caregiver

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Bowling Green. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Compensation: $2.50/hr base pay with additional compensation for years of experience and shift differentials from 2pm-6am.

Job Summary:

• Provide direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Answer signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs.
• Clean instruments and equipment and maintain the cleanliness of resident units and common areas.
• Participate in and receive nursing reports upon reporting and departing to/from work.

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and nursing staff.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Prior experience as an LTC nursing assistant preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
