Position Overview
We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Repair Station Engineer to become part of our dynamic team.
The Repair Station Engineer will be responsible for:
- Providing engineering guidance and decisions for engines, subassemblies, and components returned for maintenance
- Creating and facilitating repairs and overhauls of components
- Innovating processes to enhance the efficiency of engine and component repairs
- Designing, repairing, and maintaining specialized tools and fixtures
- Assisting in engine testing, which includes troubleshooting issues with engines and test cells, analyzing engine trend data to ensure compliance with established standards, and reviewing and approving engine performance summaries
- Expanding and diversifying your engineering knowledge and skills
- Collaborating within a vibrant team of engineers, designers, and technicians
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- A passion for working in a hands-on environment with gas turbine engines
- Preferred experience with gas turbine engine assembly and testing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with CAD design is a plus
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if necessary
