Night Custodian - Fort Zumwalt R-II School District
About the Role:This position is responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of our school facilities. The successful candidate will be a reliable and hardworking individual who takes pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain all areas of the school, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Sweep, mop, and polish floors to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Empty trash and recyclables from designated areas.
- Maintain custodial closets and restock supplies as needed.
- Assist with special events and projects as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
- Good physical health and stamina to perform manual labor.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Competitive hourly rate: $25-$30 per hour (estimated annual salary: $52,000-$62,400).
