As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines, to produce high-quality images of the human body.
Key Responsibilities- Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines, to produce high-quality images of the human body
- Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
- Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
