Job Description & Requirements
- Specialty: ED - Emergency Department

- Duration: Ongoing

The successful candidate will provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Additionally, they will oversee other assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care in accordance with BORN regulations and professional standards of care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and conflict management skills
- Current MA RN license required
- Minimum of 1-2 years nursing experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Bachelor degree in nursing, preferred
- 2 years ED experience preferred
Certifications and Training
- CPR Training required within first 3 months of employment
- Evidence of continued education and professional development
- ACLS, PALS, and CPI required within first year of employment
- CEN or CCRN preferred
Physical Environment
The RN works in a variety of patient care environments where there may be exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials such as chemotherapeutic agents, radioisotopes, and radiation. Caring for patients also involves exposure to human waste and other unpleasant elements.
