Job Description:

A Cloud Solutions Architect is required to help Oracle's top customers transform their business by acting as a liaison between Oracle engineering, sales, and leadership teams and the customer.

The ideal candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, business partners, and sales teams, and directly with customers as an evangelist for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

This role involves leveraging industry knowledge and experience in networking, computing, Storage, AI/ML, and/or containers to become a trusted advisor for key customers, guiding them on their OCI journey.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and propose suitable Oracle cloud solutions.
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients to gather detailed business and technical requirements.
  • Design and architect comprehensive cloud solutions that meet customer needs and align with industry best practices.
  • Present and demonstrate Oracle cloud solutions to customers, showcasing the value and benefits of our offerings.
  • Work closely with Oracle product management and engineering teams to stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and Oracle cloud solution features.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers, including proof of concepts (POCs) and pilot projects.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights to customers.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have 10+ years of technology and industry experience, 5+ years selling technology and cloud-based services, and 4+ years of working experience with modern Cloud Platforms (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, and GCP).

Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in similar customer-facing roles like pre-sales solution architect roles, with a focus on enterprise cloud solutions. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, and a deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies are essential.
