We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Surgery team at Orthopaedic Associates of Manhasset. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our orthopedic surgeons to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Responsibilities- First assists in all surgeries with attending physicians
- Works closely with a team of 15 fellowship-trained orthopedists
- Rotates through various healthcare facilities, including Northwell Health System, St. Francis Hospital, and Winthrop Hospital
- Ensures all medical records, including films, x-rays, and MRIs, are up to date prior to surgeries
- Coordinates discharge and informs patients and families of necessary post-discharge care instructions
- Covers orthopedic urgent care
- Works a 5-day week with no weekends or evenings
- No call requirement
- CME allowance

- Masters degree
- New York PA license
- NCCPA Certified
- DEA license
- Minimum one-year surgical experience preferred; new grads are invited to apply with an orthopedic surgery rotation
- Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task
