In this position, your daily responsibilities will include:

1. Implementing preventive maintenance strategies for buildings, equipment, and grounds.

2. Conducting repairs under the guidance of the Executive Director, focusing on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks, ensuring compliance with accepted standards.

3. Coordinating and overseeing contracted repair and maintenance services for the community.

4. Monitoring and documenting building and water temperatures to adhere to safety regulations.

5. Enforcing community fire safety and hazardous material protocols, promptly addressing any unsafe conditions or equipment issues.

6. Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of flooring, including carpets in resident areas and common spaces.

7. Supervising the Maintenance Assistant's work, if applicable.

8. Managing daily waste removal from common areas.

9. Ensuring the grounds are well-maintained and presentable, either through personal efforts or by collaborating with landscaping services.

Qualifications required:

A Vocational or Trade School degree in general maintenance or three years of relevant experience in carpentry, electrical, or painting work is necessary. Familiarity with budget management is advantageous. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for business purposes are required.
