Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Research Scientist specializing in computer vision, particularly in the areas of 3D Reconstruction and Deep Learning. This role involves enhancing and refining the algorithms that drive our consumer-facing products. We are in search of passionate, inventive researchers who possess an entrepreneurial spirit and are eager to develop groundbreaking technologies that reach a vast audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced research in 3D Computer Vision and Deep Learning.
  • Develop and optimize algorithms for 3D Reconstruction and Scene Understanding.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of experts in AI, computational photography, and design.
  • Contribute to the integration of new technologies into existing products and track their performance post-launch.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 6 years of experience in 3D Computer Vision and Deep Learning.
  • Proficient in classical 3D Reconstruction techniques such as SfM/SLAM, Multi-view Stereo, and RGB-D Fusion.
  • Experience applying Deep Learning methods to 3D Reconstruction and Scene Understanding, including Depth Estimation and Inverse Rendering.
  • Familiarity with Computer Graphics and Computational Photography.
  • Expertise in machine learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and the ability to design complex systems.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to tackle challenges and innovate.
  • A track record of patents or publications in reputable conferences is highly desirable.
  • [Bonus] Proficiency in C++ is a plus.
