Join EssilorLuxottica, a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses, as an Optometric Technician. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional value to our customers by providing the highest quality optometric care.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver the LensCrafters Experience by ensuring all patients receive the highest quality optometric care.
- Integrate the Brand Story and execute the patient experience/behaviors seamlessly linking the doctor and retail functions together.
- Perform pre-examination testing with accuracy and attention to detail, explaining all measurements and answering patient questions.
- Provide coaching and guidance to patients on the care and handling of contact lenses.
- Maintain and disinfect contact lens inventory, providing clinical support to the Optometrist as needed.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
- Knowledge of current fashion trends.
- Strong communicator and listener.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators.
- Organization skills.
- Sales skills.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Knowledge of office and store merchandise.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, and/or optical.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
