Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at DAK Resources, Inc. as a Primary Care Physician. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including clinic appointments, follow-up care, and interpretation of lab results and imaging studies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication of test results to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists to provide phone call consultations and case reviews.
  • Participate in administrative tasks, such as reporting and email communication, as needed.
  • Work a regular schedule, including 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch, and provide care coverage at 80 hours every 2 weeks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by DAK Resources, Inc. and the Fayetteville VAMC.
Requirements
  • Current, full and unrestricted license in one or more state, commonwealth, territory or DC.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician Services by the American Board of Family Practice.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • DEA License.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field within the last five years.
  • Previous VA or Military experience preferred but not required.
Education
  • Doctor of Medicine degree or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/clinic work environment.
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • May require bending, stooping and lifting to 25 lbs.
Other Special Qualifications
  • US Citizen (Permanent residents can be discussed on a case-by-case basis).
  • Must be local or relocate to project site for the duration of the contract.
  • Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance.
