Job Description
This Mental Health Technician role requires a high level of dedication and compassion, working closely with patients to provide individualized care and support. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives while developing your skills and expertise in the field of mental health.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Care for patients by assessing behavior, escorting, and interacting with them continuously throughout the shift.
  • Document patient behavior through direct observation rounds.
  • Teach and model appropriate life skills to patients.
  • Orient patients to the unit and assist with daily living skills.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
  • Perform physical restraint or intervention when necessary, following proper training.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School Degree or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of related experience in assisted living, residential, or hospital settings preferred.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including Days, Evening, and Overnight rotations.
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, lift, push, and pull to perform restraints.
