Key Responsibilities- Process and manage medical records requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient health information, adhering to strict standards of HIPAA compliance.
- Develop and implement processes to improve productivity and efficiency in the release of information department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient health information.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry standards, applying knowledge to ensure compliance and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in health information technology or a related field preferred.
- At least one year of experience in health information management, with a focus on release of information and medical records.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
