Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage medical records requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient health information, adhering to strict standards of HIPAA compliance.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve productivity and efficiency in the release of information department.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient health information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in health information technology or a related field preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in health information management, with a focus on release of information and medical records.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications relevant to the role.
