Department Overview

The Information Technology Division serves as the core of our institution, managing essential systems, networks, and data while ensuring the security of our digital assets. Our mission is to provide reliable and secure IT services to all stakeholders.


Role Summary

The PC Systems Analyst 2 (PCSA2) operates under general supervision to support end-user environments, including personal computers (PCs and Macs), mobile devices, and peripherals.

This role involves independently diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, responding to user inquiries, and escalating complex problems as necessary.

The PCSA2 is responsible for correcting technical issues, maintaining service records, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure effective problem resolution.


Key Responsibilities
  • Hardware and Software Maintenance: Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software, ensuring optimal network connectivity and implementing standard procedures.
  • User Support: Provide comprehensive support through various channels, including phone, in-person, and online.
  • Needs Assessment: Analyze user requirements, organize resources, and lead the development and implementation of effective solutions.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with two years of related experience, or an Associate's degree with three years of experience, or a High School diploma with five years of relevant experience.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with various software and databases; strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
  • Abilities: Maintain confidentiality, work collaboratively, analyze problems, and manage time effectively.

Work Schedule and Compensation

Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, with potential for additional hours as needed.

Salary range is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
