Surgical Technologist

Surgery Partners is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment for surgical procedures.
- Assist in preparing the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.
- Follow hospital regulations and industry procedures to tend to patients during pre-operation procedures.
- Perform pre-operation preparations to patients' skin, body, and medical equipment.
- Assemble and adjust sterile and non-sterile equipment.
- Get patients ready for surgery by washing, shaving, and disinfecting incision sites.
- Transport patients to the operating room and help position them on the operating table.
- Observe patients' vital signs and assist the surgical team with putting on sterile gowns and gloves.
- Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to surgeons and surgeon assistants.
- Help prepare, care for, and dispose of specimens taken for laboratory analysis.
- Operate sterilizers, lights, or suction machines, and help operate diagnostic equipment.
- After an operation, help transfer patients to the recovery room and clean and restock the operating room.
