Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at MyCareersFuture. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers in delivering high-quality education to young children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in conducting lessons, preparing resources, and teaching individual and group lessons.
  • Supervise children during daily living skills training sessions, feeding, grooming, and toilet training.
  • Take care of children on field trips, special events, and other out-of-class activities.
  • Carry out administrative duties associated with classroom activities, including typing, photocopying, and distributing lesson plans and teaching materials.
  • Maintain children's records, class registers, and filing.
  • Clean teaching aids and maintain a safe, tidy, and conducive learning environment.
  • Take records of attendance and temperature, and conduct daily health screening of children.
  • Ensure safe arrival and departure of children.
  • Attend to sick children in need of minor first aid.
  • Attend EIPIC Centre meetings, case discussions, home visits, and other relevant staff development training as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 GCE O or A Level credits.
  • Experience in working with young children using English as a medium of instruction.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as being a team player.

Work Location

  • Jurong East or Jurong West.
