Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled IT Program Coordinator with a robust background in managing data-centric initiatives and a proven track record of collaboration with Product teams. This role is essential in steering and executing intricate technical programs, ensuring successful outcomes within defined parameters of scope, timeline, and budget. A profound grasp of Agile methodologies, outstanding project management capabilities, leadership skills, and effective communication are critical for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. **Agile Leadership**: Advocate for Agile methodologies throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Mentor the team in embracing Agile practices.

2. **Scope and Iteration Management**: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, breaking them into manageable iterations. Maintain a well-organized product backlog and ensure timely delivery of prioritized features.

3. **Resource Management**: Identify and allocate essential resources, both internal and external, necessary for project success. Cultivate a collaborative and self-organizing team environment that promotes ownership and accountability.

4. **Risk and Issue Management**: Proactively identify potential risks and challenges within the Agile framework. Collaborate with the team to address obstacles promptly, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

5. **Communication and Stakeholder Engagement**: Ensure open and transparent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates, progress reports, and demonstrations. Align project goals with user stories and business objectives.

6. **Technical Acumen**: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the projects managed within an Agile context, including data flows in an enterprise environment.

7. **Quality Assurance**: Promote a culture of quality and continuous testing within Agile iterations. Work with the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, functional increments in each iteration.

8. **Change Management and Adaptability**: Embrace the changes and uncertainties inherent in Agile projects. Guide the team and stakeholders through iterations, ensuring smooth transitions to new features and updates.

9. **Agile Coaching and Mentorship**: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and team members on Agile practices, fostering skill development and enhancing Agile maturity.

Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, or similar Agile credentials are advantageous.

• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Technical Program Coordinator successfully delivering complex technical initiatives in iterative cycles.

• Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

• Proficiency in Agile project management tools and software.

• Exceptional leadership, team management, and servant leadership skills.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

• Proven track record of effectively managing project budgets, resources, risks, and timelines.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and adapt to shifting priorities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Equivalent experience is acceptable.
