Job Title: RN Pool Plus PRN

Regional One Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Pool Plus PRN RN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Job Summary:

The RN Pool Plus PRN will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients within assigned units/areas, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role requires flexibility and the ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, in accordance with Float Pool staffing guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides nursing care according to medical regime and the nursing intervention appropriate for the patient's condition and according to established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Initiates assessment based on the patient's presenting problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework upon admission and patient assignment.
  • Determines nursing diagnosis and priorities for care, with special consideration given to patient teaching, discharge planning, and the growth and development needs of the patient.
  • Documents assessment, including nursing diagnoses or other clinical judgments.
  • Performs clinical rounds and completes ongoing assessments according to nursing division policy and/or as determined by patient condition.
  • Re-prioritizes care based on new information, continues to update nursing diagnoses, and involves family and/or other significant individuals in assessment activities.
  • Assesses, plans, and implements care of assigned patients.
  • Performs therapeutic nursing interventions as ordered by the physician, consistent with primary and population-specific standards of care and practice.
  • Prepares and maintains required records, reports, and files for administrative and compliance purposes.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, safe environment for patients and personnel.
  • Adheres to established policies, compliance/quality improvement, and safety, environment, and infection control standards.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved nursing school/program.
  • Qualified by education, training, or experience to work with the neonate, infant, toddler, preschooler, school-age, adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates.
  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure licensure to work in state of TN.
  • CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
Physical Demands:

The RN Pool Plus PRN will be required to stand, walk, sit, lift, carry, push, pull, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle, grasp, feel, talk, and hear. Repetitive motions and eye/hand/foot coordination are also required.
