Job Summary

US Foods is seeking a skilled CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely driving a tractor-trailer combination to customers and delivering products in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination to customers and meet scheduled delivery times
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer and place in designated customer storage areas
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
  • Ability to read and communicate in the English language
