Position Overview:
As the Clinical Operations Manager, you will oversee all clinical personnel within the Patient Services division, focusing on patient navigation and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Your management responsibilities encompass intake and referral staff, case management teams, and care coordination professionals. You will provide essential guidance and support to your team in navigating complex situations, fostering staff development, and promoting teamwork.
Continuum of Care:
Your role will span the entire continuum of care, including:
- Intake and referral management
- Transfer coordination
- Ambulatory and inpatient care
- Discharge planning
- Repatriation processes
Accountability:
You will be responsible for all clinical elements concerning the international patient demographic throughout their care journey. Your teams will ensure seamless coordination and continuity of care while offering support and education to both patients and their families.
Relationship Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with international referring organizations will be crucial, enabling effective patient support and care transfer between facilities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a healthcare environment
- Valid nursing license and BSN with case management expertise
- Proficient in conducting nursing assessments
- Skilled in developing comprehensive care plans
- Ability to delegate effectively while fostering leadership and teamwork
- Strong teaching abilities to educate patients, families, and referring physicians
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to cultivate cooperative relationships across diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with medical terminology to guide patients through various specialties and triage their needs effectively
- Capacity to monitor patient adherence to care plans and identify care gaps
- Knowledge of available resources for patients, including rehabilitation, home health services, and support services.
