Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Teksky. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and design, with experience in creating high-quality electrical distribution systems, power systems, and lighting systems for commercial and educational facilities.

About the Job

This challenging and fast-paced position requires a candidate with a proven track record of designing electrical power system designs, including single-line diagrams, wiring, and elementary diagrams. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be able to interact effectively with clients, vendors, contractors, architects, and electrical engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and oversee electrical power system design having single line diagrams, wiring and elementary diagrams along with layout and circuitry design
  • Coordinate designs and drawings needed for plant electrical systems to meet applicable standards and codes
  • Review supplier drawings conforming with specifications plus dimensional compatibility along with assemblies and components
  • Interact with clients, vendors, contractors, architects, and electrical engineers to design required coordinated designs
  • Develop accurate and precise product designs that comply with drafting and company standards
  • Review and coordinate vendor design documents review to ensure comply to design requirements
  • Provide quality assurance checks of electrical, control detail engineering, and design project deliverables
  • Compare project budgets along with schedules to coordinate multidiscipline groups
Requirements
  • 4 or more years of work experience with an engineering consultant
  • Proficient in Revit 2021/2022 and AutoCAD design software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to self-assess and command a high level of accuracy
Benefits

The actual offered base salary for this position is between $89,888.00 and $134,832.00 per year. We offer a competitive compensation package, including incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
