About MRG Exams

MRG Exams is a leading provider of medical evaluations and impairment ratings services for the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, third-party administrators, Managed Care Organizations, and employers.

We are currently seeking board-certified MDs or DOs in Occupational Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehab, Orthopedics, licensed Psychologists, and Psychiatrists to conduct comprehensive medical assessments, evaluate permanent partial impairment, and provide objective opinions in narrative reports.

Job Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity for dedicated professionals to join our team as Medical Evaluators Specialists. You will be responsible for conducting thorough medical evaluations, performing impairment ratings accurately, documenting findings, and collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct thorough medical evaluations and assessments in accordance with Ohio BWC guidelines and regulations.
  2. Perform Permanent Partial Impairment Ratings accurately and objectively using the 5th Edition AMA Guidelines.
  3. Document findings and provide clear, concise reports within established timelines.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the highest level of service to our clients.
  5. Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  6. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
  7. Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

Requirements

  • Licensed psychologist (PhD or PsyD).
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Ohio.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Previous experience with IME/impairment rating exams preferred but not required.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience.
