Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Dentist to join our team at our community health clinic in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. As a key member of our dental department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients and working collaboratively with our support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lead Dental Provider in supervising dental staff and administering the dental department.
  • Represent the dental department at board and department head meetings in the absence of the Lead Dental Provider.
  • Maintain current and good standing state Dental license.
  • Provide dental in-service training to dental and other staff as appropriate.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate and legible dental patient records.
  • Implement state and federal laws, standards, and guidelines related to dental services.
  • Represent the health center to dental societies and other community and civic groups.
  • Precept dental students rotating through the health center from UNC Dental School.
  • Participate in case reviews during PCHH huddles.
