We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Behavioral Health department. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating and treating patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patient needs and develop treatment programs to identify, prevent, and minimize physical disabilities and pain.
- Provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care, including assessment, expected outcomes, rehabilitation interventions, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to update algorithms for safe patient handling and document all treatments according to department policies and procedures.
- Submit accurate charges for services rendered and participate in education and training of staff, students, patients, and family members.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current or temporary licensure in the state of West Virginia or applicable state licensure where services will be performed.
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
- One year of experience in the setting of the open position (acute care, outpatient, SNF, HH).

- Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and different types of cleaning and laundry chemicals.
- Ability to organize and prioritize time and tasks to achieve a well-coordinated work effort and to effectively meet work schedules.
