Job Description:
HIE Specialist at EGO Inc DBA Brault
The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively. This role involves monitoring the Patient Account Tracking system for assigned datasets, ensuring activities are initiated and missing or incomplete data is researched and resolved. Remote access to hospital systems, such as EMRs, will be required to retrieve necessary chart documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor Patient Account Tracking (PAT) system for all assigned datasets to ensure timely activities.
  2. Remote access to hospital systems to retrieve chart documents.
  3. Facilitate record completion by sending notifications to providers.
  4. Maintain Shortage Lists and update PAT system with daily account activity.
  5. Prioritize documentation receipt before monthly close to achieve a 98% capture rate.
  6. Communicate effectively with off-site coordinators and Brault departments.
  7. Evaluate customer issues and escalate concerns in a proactive manner.

Requirements:
This position requires a resourceful individual with working knowledge of HIE processes, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs, and experience navigating Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and time management skills are essential for success in this role. The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on location and qualifications.
