As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Execute basic clinical competence in MRI, in all locations, across all patient types.
* Select accurate technical factors on an individual patient basis and demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age of the patient.
* Administer contrast according to facility policy.
* Apply knowledge of MRI principles and practices, including anatomy and physiology, MRI safety, physics, and protection, patient positioning and patient care skills.
* Adhere to Joint Commission, State, Federal, organizational and departmental regulatory compliance standards.
* Document accurate patient care activity in various electronic health records systems.
* Ensure a safe and appropriate work area per institutional MR Safety Program.
* Maintain supplies and inventory in area.
* Inform appropriate colleague when supplies need to be ordered from outside vendors.
* Document and report related equipment/environmental problems in accordance with policy.
* Follow equipment quality control procedures with appropriate documentation.

Qualifications:

* Associate degree, or Certificate, in radiologic technology, or MRI, from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education (USDE) or Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
* One year of MRI experience preferred.
* ARMRIT and/or ARRT (MRI) Certification – within 1 year of hire date
* Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
