Job Summary

Baker Commodities Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic - Heavy Duty Diesel Engines to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of our fleet of trucks and diesel engines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair complex issues with heavy duty diesel engines and trucks
  • Perform Routine Maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
  • Fabricate Hydraulic Hoses and other components as needed
  • Assist with Daily Vehicle Inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Collaborate with Colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Tanker Endorsement preferred
  • Minimum 2 Years of Experience working in an enclosed garage environment
  • Certification for Air Brake System Repairs required
  • Ability to Lift 70 Pounds and physically climb, crawl, and maneuver in and around vehicles
Physical Demands

This role requires constant sitting, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. The ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and materials up to 70 pounds is also required.
