About the Role:
Sodexo is seeking a Part Time Registered Dietitian Nutritionist I to join their team at a 140-bed Acute Care facility. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, you will provide nutritional care for inpatient units and outpatient oncology, staying up-to-date with evidence-based practice and working closely with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nutritional care for inpatient units and outpatient oncology
- Stay up-to-date with evidence-based practice regarding the management of acute and chronic conditions
- Work weekend rotation providing hospital-wide coverage
- Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays
- Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
- Precept Dietetic interns
- Assist with Food Service Management as needed
Requirements:
- Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
