We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team as a Cell Based Assays Specialist. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for designing and executing research plans to answer critical questions about compounds and targets.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute cell-based assays for small and large molecule discovery.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, evaluate data, and prepare reports and presentations for internal meetings.
- Review relevant scientific literature to build protocols using resources such as Pubmed.
- Collaborate with other functional groups within drug discovery to achieve shared goals.
- Show flexibility to acquire additional competencies and skillsets as needed.
- Demonstrate high independence and organization, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular/Cell Biology or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in cell culture and cell-based assays for compound screening.
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, including Western Blotting, ELISA, HTRF, MSD, and CTG.
- Desirable but not required experience in ex-vivo culture of human cells, immune cell separation using magnetic beads, flow cytometry, gene-editing techniques (RNAi, CRISPR), and RT-qPCR.
